Visionary Veda – Vedic Astrology Report
Hi friends!
In this Vedic astrology report I go over the energies at play during this Solar eclipse on June 10th happening in Mrigashira Nakshatra in the sidereal sign of Taurus. There is a lot going in on the sky, so you don’t want to miss this in depth report outlining these potent celestial powers!
During this eclipse we will have a combust retrograde Mercury in a parivartana yoga with Venus as both these lords are exchanging signs. Mars is in its debilitation sign of Cancer, ruled by the Moon. Also, both Rahu and Saturn are in Moon ruled Nakshatras, making Moon a big factor in this eclipse. Luckily the Moon, although being dark, is in its exaltation sign, so we will be able to emotionally integrate whatever changes this eclipse brings about.
The day of the eclipse is also the day of Shani Jayanti, the day to propitiate and venerate Lord Saturn. We can utilize this Saturnian energy to build solid structures around what it is we value (Taurus) and use it to lay out plans on how to get where we want to go.
Lastly, this Eclipse will be in Mrigashira Nakshatra whose deity is Lord Soma. Soma is connected to the Moon itself and also with the Pavamana Mantra (pavamāna meaning “being purified, strained”, historically a name of Soma). This mantra will be very powerful and effective if chanted during the days leading up to, during and after the eclipse.
असतो मा सद्गमय ।
तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय ।
मृत्योर्माऽमृतं गमय ॥
asato mā sadgamaya,
tamaso mā jyotirgamaya,
mṛtyormā’mṛtaṃ gamaya.
From the unreal lead me to the real!
From the darkness lead me to the light!
From death lead me to immortality!
Om Shanti, Shanti, Shanti… Om Peace, Peace, Peace…
