Visionary Veda – Vedic Astrology Report
Hi friends!
In this Vedic Astrology Report I go over the energies of the Super Full Moon Eclipse is happening in the Vedic sidereal sign of Scorpio, in the Nakshatra of Anuradha.
Be prepared to feel this very intense and powerful moon on the mental and emotional level and try to stay balanced. This moon can bring up past traumas, unresolved feelings and even ancestral karmas that may have been hidden from our conscious minds and of which we were completely unaware. It’s very important during times of intense and chaotic energies like these to remember to return to our inner spiritual work so that we may be firmly grounded during the turbulence. Try to observe as much as possible when any challenge or emotional charge arises; although it can be very difficult to maintain equanimity, if you are able to do so you can approach things in a more practical and pragmatic way a few days after this eclipse (due to Saturn being in retrograde and also being the lord of Anuradha Nakshatra).
Traditionally eclipse times are considered to be inauspicious to begin anything new as the light of our Manas (minds) is being obscured, so we may not be seeing the entire picture or we’re not able to think clearly at this time. Since this eclipse is being caused by Ketu, we may feel ‘headless’ and things from the past may resurface to be reviewed and let go of. If we are able to process these intense insights and not react to them causing more karmic repercussions, then this Moon will give us the possibility to clear out very old and habitual ways of being that have been getting in our way and bringing us down for years. But first we must have developed the inner strength to face them without fear and insecurity.
In the end of the video I go over the Pavamana Mantra (pavamāna meaning “being purified, strained”, historically a name of Soma), which can be chanted during the days leading up to, including and after the eclipse.
असतो मा सद्गमय ।
तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय ।
मृत्योर्माऽमृतं गमय ॥
asato mā sadgamaya,
tamaso mā jyotirgamaya,
mṛtyormā’mṛtaṃ gamaya.
From the unreal lead me to the real!
From the darkness lead me to the light!
From death lead me to immortality!
Om Shanti, Shanti, Shanti… Om Peace, Peace, Peace…
