Visionary Veda – Vedic Astrology Report
In this Vedic Astrology report I go over the energies of this beautiful Full Moon in the sidereal sign of Virgo in the Nakshatra of Hasta. Virgo is the sign of Purity and Hasta Nakshatra symbolizes the hands with which we do our work or karmas toward becoming like new again. This is the perfect Full Moon to get ready to start any type of a cleanse, whether it be for your home and environment, as well as for your body and psyche. The planetary energies will be in full support! Venus and Sun opposite in Pisces show that we have the divine graces encouraging us to let go and let God; so themes of forgiveness, understanding and moving forward in the heart are also highlighted and supported.
Not only are the planetary energies supporting this clearing out, letting go and rejuvenation, but the Mahabhutas or primordial elements are backing us as well! During the time of seasonal changes is when the Vata or Air element is increased in our bodies. We can utilize this movement of excess air to carry out and remove impurities from our bodies as well as take steps to balance our doshas (Ayurvedic constitutions). I am offering to lead a simple spring cleanse using traditional ayurvedic principals in a few days starting with the waning moon phase, so please visit my Facebook Page: Visionary Veda for more details!
Along side this Full Moon in Virgo, we have Mars and Rahu in exact conjunction in the sidereal sign of Taurus making a trine to the Moon along with Saturn in Capricorn. This can show some affliction of anger, irritation, arguments, aloofness and coldness coming to us from those we care about. Try to not take it personally and look to your divine source to guide you rather than retaliating from the egoic level. This malefic energy can impel some of us to want to cut off ties and relationships with others, but these feelings are only temporary and it would be best to not act on the impulse as you can regret it after a few days. Instead make an attempt to have empathy for your loved ones and try to understand where these feelings are coming from. It usually does not stem from you, but from some dissatisfaction they are experiencing within themselves.
The day after this Full Moon we will be celebrating the Festival of Color or the Holi Festival as it is known in India. In popular culture this festival symbolizes the beginning of spring and the blooming of nature when everyone comes out to throw brightly colored powders on each other to enjoy community and celebrate love. However the deeper spiritual significance of this festival is the return of dharma and the triumph of the righteous over the immoral. Its significance is again that of purity and devotion to the divine as Holika gets burned while the devout Prahlad comes through the trial by fire. Purification and surrender to the divine are the main themes for this Full Moon and also for the coming weeks ahead.
