In this Vedic Astrology video I cover the energies at play for the most powerful and transformative New Moon of the year! This New Moon falls in the Vedic sign of Scorpio along with a retrograde Mercury, in the Nakshatra or fixed star of Anuradha. This is the debilitation place of the Moon, and along with its darkness, it indicates the possibility of discovering the deepest hidden aspects within your psyche. Now is the time to courageously face your internal and hidden shadows in order to bring them to light and release them once and for all. We are poised to be able to shed layers of old unhealed wounds and traumas in order to be able to walk into the New Year without the weight and baggage of the past!
Along with the Sun, Moon and retrograde Mercury sitting in the sign of Scorpio. We also have a mutual sign exchange between Moon and Mars, giving us the courage and the fortitude to be able to face our deepest darkness and take action towards healing. The sign of Scorpio is also being strongly aspected by Jupiter (gaining wisdom and guidance), Saturn (willingness to do the work it takes to transform), and Rahu (giving us the motivation and desire to do so)!
It is one of the most powerful times to truly step into becoming who you and leave the past behind so that you may soar to new heights in your life!
