Visionary Vedic Astrology Report

In this Vedic astrology video I cover the planetary significance of the first New Moon of 2021 on January 12/13th happening in the first pada of Uttarashada Nakshatra in the last degrees of sidereal Sagittarius. This New Moon will be considered ‘Sandhi’ or ‘Old’ and therefore not very powerful to carry out it’s agenda. Remember that the Sun in Vedic Astrology symbolizes our ‘Kings’ or “Leaders” and may indicate that their powers are weakening. Sun enters into sidereal Capricorn the next day marking the beginning of Makar Sankranti or when the light begins growing stronger. Upon entering Capricorn Sun will conjunct Pluto which can indicate explosive changes to the Leaders/Sun. It will then conjunct Saturn which can be seen as the leaders reckoning with the establishment or the masses; and then onto Jupiter bringing light onto our laws or righteousness.

There will be a lot of energy centered on the sign of Capricorn indicating an intense focus on our Government, Leadership, Democracy and our Laws starting now until the middle of February. All of this intense action is taking place within the great Kala Sarpa Yoga, which is when all the planets are hemmed in between Rahu and Ketu causing a lot of pressure and restrictive energy to all the planets. This Kala Sarpa Yoga will continue until the end of March 2021. In general this New Moon kicks off a time of great changes, upheavals, confusion and internal pressures! It’s important to try and stay as calm and centered as possible during the next few moths at least.

While all the planets are preparing to squeeze into the sidereal sign of Capricorn, Mars will be in kendra in his own sign of Aries adding more fire and anger to the collective flames. On January 20th, Inauguration Day in the States, Mars will be exactly conjunct Uranus signifying the possibility of explosive events. Not only could there be an intense situation at the inauguration, but this energy also indicates the possibility of natural disasters such as earthquakes, volcanic eruptions or crazy other worldly unexpected events. Whatever this conjunction could bring about it will definitely be powerfully transformational and somewhat shocking.

Lastly I want to reiterate that it’s of utmost important to not get swept up in the mayhem nor get swallowed by the cosmic snake. One way among many is the practice of ‘Analom-Vilom’ pranayama or ‘Alternate Nostril Breathing’ exercises, which can help balance our internal sarpas or nervous system. By practicing this simple yet highly effective technique, we can help keep ourselves centered and stable during this very unstable and intense time.

I hope this report was insightful and of benefit for you. Please feel free to comment and share below as to how you are feeling these energies in your life coming into the first New Moon of 2021.

PLEASE NOTE / EDIT:
When I spoke about “Capricorn returning after 248 years to the place it was at 1772”, I meant to say Pluto not Capricorn. This is a very intense placement indicating big upheavals to our country.
