In this Vedic astrology report I go over the energies at play for this turbulent and powerful Full Moon lunar eclipse happening in the sidereal sign of Aries in the Nakshatra of Bharani. This eclipse energy is one of wanting to birth something new, however in the process of creation we will intuitively feel the need to destroy what we perceive to be holding us back. We may be in conflicts or just feel fed up of the current state of our relationship and desire to break the bonds and start something new, or we might project these inner obstacles onto our near and dear ones seeing them as the source of our blockages. It’s important to remember that although it’s a full moon, we are not seeing things clearly due to Rahu’s shadowy influence on veiling our clarity. Rahu indicates deception and confusion, so when anger or frustration arises make sure to remember that our perceptions may not be entirely on point. It is best to not act on any impulses of anger or wanting to make any hasty decisions based on your emotions as they may be quite volatile and intense at the moment.
Bharani is a very harsh nakshatra ruled by Venus and is symbolized by the Yoni or the female reproductive organ. Its energy is one of creation and of bringing something into being. Its deity is lord Yama, or the lord of death, signifying the need for something to be destroyed in order to make room for the new in our lives. Venus is currently combust so its energies to create and destroy with proper awareness and insight is greatly hindered at this time. It is best to not have any important conversations or sign any new contracts where all parties involved need to be in agreement. Mars, the lord of Aries, has also just turned retrograde on October 30th and is currently in the sign of Gemini lorded by Mercury. Mar and Mercury’s energies are not compatible so communication or negotiations of any kind may not result in a good outcome. There might be misunderstandings or outright deception during the eclipse window. Best to wait several days until the eclipse energies have cleared and review things before resuming communication as retrograde Mars will aid in the process.
Lastly, the media will likely be in full force at this time with regards to the conflict in Russia as well as the US elections which will be held on the day of this eclipse. Try your best to not get emotionally caught up in the fear and divisiveness the media will surely be propagating. Instead, harness the powerful eclipse energies to go inward, ground and remain balanced within yourself using any spiritually aligned tools or practices you have at your disposal.
One very powerful tool is to recite the Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra, which literally translates as “victory over death”. It is an extremely powerful mantra of Lord Shiva which can greatly aid with surrendering our fears and bringing peace to our minds. I have included it below for your reference:
